About Me

I'm a yarn and hook addicted crochet junkie! I learned some basic crochet when I was 17, but didn't really get into it until I was 20. And I didn't get addicted until a few years ago. Now I just can't stop!

I just love to create new and beautiful items. I love all crafts really, I will try anything at least once (but usually it doesn't end at once). I just love to use my imagination and make fun things!

I am also the mom of three awesome kids, my middle is trying to learn to crochet...did I mention my middle is my 10 year old SON?! Yep..proud momma!

So, tell me about you. How long have you been crocheting?

  6. I love crocheting, my mother used to crochet all the time and just watching her is how I learned. That was when I was 10 yrs old. But all I had ever done were granny squares. And now 50 yrs later I have wanted to try different stitches now. Enough of the grannys, I want to do other things now. 40 granny afghans later, and I want to do other things. lol.

  7. Hi I'm Donna, love to crochet. Been doing a long time. I learned how to knit from my mom's friend who is British.I taught her to crochet. I love to crochet. I do all kinds of things for family and friends all the time I give away baby blankets to charity and I even did the little purple hats for babies. Sorry I started at age 20, I was pregnant with my son. I wanted to learn a rose. so I ran with it from there. I have done cables and lace Afghan, stitch and cross stitched a bunch of flowers on the blanket, it came out great. I joined a square exchange once, but could not continue. I'm sure that's tmi lol nice to meet you. Donna M
